Baseball Recap: St. Mary's Comes Up Short

St. Mary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Cascade Christian Challengers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 26, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Tyler Archie made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Cascade Christian, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, St. Mary's will square off against North Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cascade Christian, they will challenge Marshfield at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
