Football Recap: Elkmont Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 47 points the game before, Elkmont was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a blow against the Mars Hill Bible Panthers, falling 56-7. The loss continues a trend for the Red Devils in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Reid Bardos threw for 175 yards on 18 of 26 attempts. Cooper Wales was his top target, picking up 85 receiving yards.

Isaiah Owens had a dynamite game For Mars Hill Bible., picking up 186 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Owens got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 98 yards. Hudson Higgins was another key player, rushing for 86 yards and one score.

Elkmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Mars Hill Bible, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
