Volleyball Recap: Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders vs. Honeoye Bulldogs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aquinas Institute, Palmyra-Macedon was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Honeoye Bulldogs 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Raiders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20, 25-6.
Palmyra-Macedon was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Palmyra-Macedon's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Honeoye, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
Palmyra-Macedon has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Marion on the 5th. As for Honeoye, they will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Rochester Academy at 6:00 p.m.
