Softball Recap: Litchfield Purple Panthers vs. North Greene Spartans
Litchfield's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Father McGivney Catholic on Thursday. The Purple Panthers never let the North Greene Spartans get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The Purple Panthers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Lili Anne Readenour made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Those 14 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Laynie Wyatt was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
Litchfield hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
