Recap: Dunbar Wildcats vs. Eastern Hills Highlanders

The Dunbar Wildcats waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins but they left with six. They walked away with a 44-34 win over Eastern Hills. That's another feather in the cap for Dunbar, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Dunbar's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan McIntosh led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. McIntosh has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Dallas Henry, who scored five points along with ten assists and eight steals.

Dunbar has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Eastern Hills, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Western Hills the next time they take the court. Dunbar will head out to face the Cougars at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Highlanders will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
