Soccer Recap: Manning Takes a Loss

Manning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Sumter Gamecocks, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Manning of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2017.

Manning's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Sumter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5.

Manning didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 defeat against Atlantic Collegiate Academy on the 8th. As for Sumter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Spring Valley on the 4th.
