Mt. Rainier waltzed into their matchup on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Auburn Riverside Ravens 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

While Mt. Rainier won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 27-25, 25-18.

Joscelyne Gross paced Mt. Rainier's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gross got some help from Abby Taliloa and her 26 assists. Gross was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Mt. Rainier's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Auburn Riverside, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
