Melbourne Central Catholic won the last time they faced Pineapple Cove Classical Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers were the clear victor by a 60-38 margin over the Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Patriots. The win was familiar territory for the Hustlers who have now won four contests in a row.

Melbourne Central Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tristan Hamilton, who posted 11 points along with eight boards and six assists. Hamilton is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Henry Lane was another key player, putting up 19 points along with six boards and five steals.

Hamilton wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Melbourne Central Catholic was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pineapple Cove Classical Academy only posted six assists.

When it comes to explaining why Pineapple Cove Classical Academy lost, don't look at Michael Barna. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 13 points and 17 boards. Barna continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Garcia, who had eight points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Melbourne Central Catholic's record is now 9-1. As for Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Melbourne Central Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-20 victory against Mater Brighton Lakes Academy on the 11th. As for Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-24 loss against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy on the 10th.
