Football Game Preview: Central Lyon/George-Little Rock Lions vs. Cherokee Washington Braves

Central Lyon/George-Little Rock is 6-1 against Cherokee Washington since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions will face off against the Braves at 7:00 p.m. Central Lyon/George-Little Rock comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Central Lyon/George-Little Rock had taken Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Lions took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the NIGHTHAWKS.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 44 points the game before, Cherokee Washington was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by Unity Christian 33-6.

Cherokee Washington's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Central Lyon/George-Little Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Central Lyon/George-Little Rock couldn't quite finish off Cherokee Washington in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 and fell 16-13. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
