Cherokee extended their postseason success on Friday against Carver. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 78-29 victory over the Carver Yellowjackets. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 22 games by 31 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Whitney Rogers, who shot 67% from the field on her way to 23 points and five steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Cecily 'Dvdaya' Swimmer, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 14 points and four steals.

Cherokee smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in ten consecutive matches.

Cherokee's win was their 26th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.8 points on average over those games. As for Carver, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Cherokee has already played their next contest, a 108-28 victory against Christ the King on the 4th. Carver does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
