Volleyball Recap: Central Columbia Comes Up Short

Central Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Loyalsock Township Lancers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 6th.

Central Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Loyalsock Township, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central Columbia is set to take on their familiar foe Montoursville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Loyalsock Township will challenge rival Canton at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
