Baseball Recap: Dexter Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dexter had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Fort Kent Warriors by a score of 5-1. The Tigers have beaten the Warriors the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Warriors has come to flipping the script.

Dexter's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Kent, their loss dropped their record down to 8-9.

Dexter wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Foxcroft Academy on the 12th. Fort Kent does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
