Softball Recap: Ellwood City Comes Up Short

Ellwood City suffered their biggest loss since April 1st on Friday. They lost 12-2 to the Mohawk Area Warriors. The Wolverine have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Ellwood City's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Mohawk Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Ellwood City nor Mohawk Area have any future games scheduled.
