Volleyball Recap: Marshall Gets the Win

Marshall won the last time they faced Edwardsburg and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Redhawks walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eddies.

Marshall was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 15-25, 25-15.

Brynn Johnson paced Marshall's offense, picking up 21 kills. Johnson got some help from Addie Carden and her 35 assists. Carden was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 30-10-5. As for Edwardsburg, with the defeat, they broke their 12-match winning streak and moved their record to 28-9.

Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edwardsburg, they will challenge Buchanan at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
