Football Recap: Wakefield Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Wakefield had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 29-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Huskies. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Wakefield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Maddox Lowery and Payton Taylor.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wakefield will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Holly Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage, they will challenge Millbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
