West Ranch not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 11, 2024. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Castaic Coyotes. The Wildcats have beaten the Coyotes the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Coyotes has come to flipping the script.

While West Ranch won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 25-14.

Noah Douphner paced West Ranch's offense, picking up 11 kills. Douphner got some help from Jackson Manansala and his 19 assists. Douphner also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Stephen Choi, racking up three apiece.

West Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Castaic, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

West Ranch has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Canyon on the 6th. As for Castaic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Golden Valley on the 6th.
