Volleyball Game Preview: Richardson Eagles vs. Wylie East Raiders

The Richardson Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Wylie East Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wylie East took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Richardson, who comes in off a win.

Richardson took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Berkner 3-0.

Richardson was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Wylie East didn't have quite enough to beat Naaman Forest on Friday and fell 3-2.

Wylie East's defeat dropped their record down to 16-18. As for Richardson, their win bumped their record up to 22-16.

Richardson beat Wylie East 2-0 in their previous meeting back in August of 2016. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
