Basketball Recap: Thoreau Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thoreau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 47-39 to the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes.

Despite the loss, Thoreau still got an impressive performance from Jordan Calladitto, who shot 42% from the field en route to 12 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.

Mora's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Camden Montoya, who went 7-for-10 on his way to 14 points and seven boards. Krystopher Padilla was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Thoreau's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mora, their record now sits at 3-1.

Coming up, Thoreau will be home for the holidays to greet Rehoboth Christian at 2:30 p.m. on the 20th. As for Mora, they and Penasco will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Rangers/Rangerettes' defense better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 58.2 points per game this season.
