Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]). Everything went their way against the Lutheran-Northeast Eagles on Thursday as the Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats made off with a 62-41 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jenna Funk, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 18 rebounds. Funk is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Lydia Robertson was another key player, dropping a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 36 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

Despite the loss, Lutheran-Northeast saw an underclassman step up: freshman Emerson Rose-Hancock went 6-for-9 to rack up 16 points. Those 16 points gave Rose-Hancock a new career-high.

Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Lutheran-Northeast, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
