Volleyball Recap: Phelps Takes a Loss

Phelps was the 2-1 winner over Wausaukee when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers on Saturday.

Keira Riihimaki paced Phelps' offense, picking up six kills. Riihimaki really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with five. Addison Szuta controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Phelps' defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Wausaukee, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phelps will venture away from home to square off against Elcho at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wausaukee, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Niagara at 7:00 p.m. on October 14.
