Sonora had won two straight games and Steven Morfoot did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Wildcats blew past the Hilmar Yellowjackets 73-52 for which the team can thank Morfoot, who posted 26 points. He is becoming a predictor of Sonora's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is undefeated (and 5-12 when he doesn't).

Hilmar lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cohen Felber, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 11 points. Another player making a difference was Xavier Silveira, who put up 12 points.

The win got Sonora back to even at 12-12. As for Hilmar, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.

Sonora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-55 defeat against Hughson on the 5th. As for Hilmar, they have also already played their next contest, a 78-41 victory against Orestimba on the 5th.
