Softball Recap: Tompkins Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Tompkins entered their tilt with Cinco Ranch on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Cinco Ranch Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Tompkins pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Cinco Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
