Basketball Recap: Roby Takes a Loss

After soaring to 75 points the game before, Roby was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Westbrook Wildcats, falling 52-29. The Lions have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Jaxson Browne continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Westbrook, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten boards. Westbrook is 11-5 when Browne posts eight or more rebounds, but 5-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Cole Rich, who posted 14 points.

Roby's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-12. As for Westbrook, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-11.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Hermleigh the next time they take the court. Roby will head out to face Hermleigh at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Westbrook will host them at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
