Softball Preview: Pass Christian Pirates vs. Greene County Wildcats
The Pass Christian Pirates will square off against the Greene County Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Pass Christian not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 21st. Everything went their way against St. Patrick as Pass Christian made off with a 12-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Greene County took on Bay on Tuesday. Greene County walked away with an 8-5 win over Bay. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won nine in a row.
Addie Tungett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits.
