Volleyball Recap: Tyler Extends Winning Streak to Three

Tyler hadn't done well against The Linsly School recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Knights won by a set and slipped past the Cadets 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Tyler was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-21, 14-25, 19-25, 25-14, 15-9.

Kayli West paced Tyler's offense, picking up 18 kills. West got some help from Raylynn Heintzman and her 31 assists. Finally, West was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Tyler's victory bumped their record up to 23-10. As for The Linsly School, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-7.

As of now, neither Tyler nor the Cadets have any future games scheduled.
