While Joplin put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Marshfield. The Eagles put the hurt on the Bluejays with a sharp 7-0 win. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 9-3 victory the Bluejays walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Joplin's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Marshfield, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-6.

Coming up, Joplin will head out on the road to square off against Willard at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshfield, they will square off against Carl Junction at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
