The Two Rivers Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Roncalli Jets at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Two Rivers will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Chilton, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Raiders blew past the Tigers 12-2 on Thursday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Raiders' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Noah Shillcox made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Derek Klinkner and Kole Klein did most of the damage at the plate: Klinkner got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Klein went 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. What's more, Klinkner posted three hits, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. Ethan Schramm was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Two Rivers always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Roncalli ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. Everything went their way against Manitowoc Lutheran as they made off with an 11-4 victory. With that win, the Jets brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Roncalli also got a great performance from Kory Wilke as he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Wilke also tossed a walk, which is notable because the Jets are 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 4-7 otherwise.
Two Rivers' record is now 4-6. As for Roncalli, they moved to 7-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
Two Rivers couldn't quite finish off Roncalli in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 and fell 4-2. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
