Barack Obama School for Social Justice came into Friday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Valhalla Vikings on Friday as the Barack Obama School for Social Justice Lightning made off with a 58-36 win. With the Lightning ahead 33-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

It was another big night for Seediya Jabbi, who went 8 of 10 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds. Raheem Azeez was another key player, putting up nine points and six boards.

The victory got Barack Obama School for Social Justice back to even at 6-6. As for Valhalla, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
