Basketball Recap: Draper APA Picks Up 13th Straight Win at Home

Draper APA's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They breezed by the St. Joseph Jayhawks to the tune of 74-24. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Draper APA had a senior duo take command as Aaliyah Baldwin shot 6-for-8 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine assists and Samantha Kartchner dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. Kartchner is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in the last eight games she's played. Vanessa Moctezuma was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Draper APA was working as a unit and finished the game with 28 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.
