Basketball Recap: Muddy River Homeschool's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to 21

Muddy River HomeSchool put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging an 82-41 victory over the Shreveport HomeSchool Sports Force. The Counselors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Muddy River HomeSchool found their leader in freshman Luke Sanders, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 boards gave Sanders a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Sanders, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine steals.

Muddy River HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive boards in eight consecutive contests.

Muddy River HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 21-0. As for Shreveport HomeSchool Sports, their loss dropped their record down to 24-10.

Muddy River HomeSchool wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-43 victory against CHAAMP HomeSchool on the 18th. As for Shreveport HomeSchool Sports, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-55 defeat against Tournament Opponent on the 18th.
