            Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Lutheran Academy Crusaders vs. Altamonte Christian Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Holy Cross Lutheran Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They had to suffer through a   70-40 loss at the hands of the Altamonte Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 654th, while the Eagles are ranked 290th).

 Despite the  defeat, Holy Cross Lutheran Academy had strong showings from  Christian King, who  went 6 for 13  on his way to 15  points, and  Keesan Beyah-Bridges, who  posted 13 points. Beyah-Bridges is also crushing it when it comes to  steals: he's   grabbed at least two every time he's  taken the court this season.  Quincy Lee was another key player,  putting up four points and eight  rebounds.
  Antoni Padol went supernova for Altamonte Christian,  posting 20  points. Another player making a difference was  Ryan Almeda, who  had ten points.
Holy Cross Lutheran Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Altamonte Christian, their win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 5-10.
 Holy Cross Lutheran Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crooms Academy at 6:30  p.m.  on January 28th. As for Altamonte Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  61-59  loss against Lecanto on the 11th.
