While Shafter put up plenty of  points on Thursday, the same  can't be said for Chavez. The Generals breezed past the Titans to the tune of  56-0. The  matchup marked the Generals' most dominant  victory of the  season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shafter to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Ezekiel Osborne, who threw for 366 yards and five  touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. Osborne has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  passing touchdowns the last three times he's  played.  Alex Reyna did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 125 receiving yards.
 Shafter's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB  four times. The heavy lifting was done by  Robert Aguirre and  Isaiah Monreal, who racked up all four sacks between them.
Shafter's win was  their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-1. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 46.6 points over those games. As for Chavez, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Shafter is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Wasco  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 31st. That  game will pit two of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Mariyon Sloan and  Hammie Lopez. Meanwhile, Chavez will  take on  rival Kennedy  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 31st.
