Phoebus put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Hampton Crabbers with a sharp 18-6 win. Winning may never get old, but Phoebus sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Alyssa Porch was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played. Courtney Shelton was another key contributor, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and a double.
Phoebus pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hampton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-2.
