Memphis East is a perfect 3-0 against Middle College since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Mustangs will face off against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Memphis East is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

Memphis East will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Bluff City on Thursday. The Mustangs' defense stepped up to hand the Gray Wolves a 4-0 shutout. Considering Memphis East have won four matchups by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Bluff City with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from John Nunez (2), Devin Drinkwater, and Randy Butler.

Meanwhile, Middle College scored the most goals they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 6-2 to Sheffield. Middle College haven't had much luck with Sheffield recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Middle College now has a losing record of 1-2-2. As for Memphis East, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Everything went Memphis East's way against Middle College in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Memphis East made off with a 5-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
