Basketball Game Recap: Upstate HomeSchool Bearcats vs. Southside Christian Warriors

The Upstate HomeSchool Bearcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 41-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southside Christian.

Southside Christian can attribute much of their success to Luke Boush, who scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Boush has scored at least 25% of Southside Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Noah Mizelle, who scored 10 points.

Upstate HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Southside Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Upstate HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hampton Park Christian at 7:00 p.m. on February 2, 2024. As for Southside Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Hilltop Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
