Vaughn had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They put the hurt on the Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers with a sharp 15-5 win. The result was nothing new for the White Tigers, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Vaughn's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coming up, Vaughn will be taking part in a tournament against Webster Schroeder at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences, they will head out to square off against Serra at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cavaliers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Vipers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
