Baseball Recap: West Point Comes Up Short

West Point lost against Corinth last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. West Point came up short against Corinth, falling 12-2. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Point saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Walker Ward, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Corinth, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

West Point will host Caledonia at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Corinth, they will venture away from home to square off against New Hope at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
