Washington were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union 57-0. Washington was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The win bumped Washington's record up to 0-1. The loss dropped Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union's record to 0-1.

Next week, Washington take on Battle Creek-Ida Grove/Odebolt-Arthur at 7:00 PM. Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union will look to defend their home turf next week against North Union.
