StoneBridge faced North Cross in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cavaliers came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Cavaliers as they're now sitting on four straight.

StoneBridge easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20.

Madalyn Wartick paced StoneBridge's offense, picking up eight kills. Wartick got some help from Selah Telfer and her ten assists. Hayden Marchigiani and Nyah Beckwith kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

StoneBridge's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for North Cross, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

StoneBridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Virginia Academy on the 23rd. As for North Cross, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Roanoke Valley Christian on the 23rd.
