Softball Game Preview: Argyle Scots vs. Crown Point Panthers

The Argyle Scots will square off against the Crown Point Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Argyle sitting on four straight wins and Crown Point on 11.

Argyle is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top against Eldred by a score of 6-3.

Meanwhile, Crown Point made easy work of Hammond Central on Saturday and carried off a 13-1 victory. Considering the Panthers have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Makenna Munson was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Madison Wayman was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Crown Point's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Argyle, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.
