Baseball Game Preview: Rahway Indians vs. North Plainfield Canucks

The Rahway Indians will head out on the road to square off against the North Plainfield Canucks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Rahway's hitters haven't had much luck over their past six matchups, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rahway fell victim to Franklin and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 13-0 to the Warriors.

Rahway saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremy Woo, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Woo's first of the season.

Meanwhile, North Plainfield came up short against Dayton on Wednesday and fell 6-2. That's two games in a row now that the Canucks have lost by exactly four runs.

Jake Z made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Rahway's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for North Plainfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.
