Baseball Recap: Loudon Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Roane County, Loudon was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the South-Doyle Cherokees by a score of 6-2. For the Redskins, this counts as revenge for the 7-0 victory the Cherokees walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2025.

Loudon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Curtis, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run. Zachary Kelch was another, earning two runs and two stolen bases.

Loudon now has a winning record of 3-2. As for South-Doyle, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7-1.
