Football Game Preview: Modesto Panthers vs. Turlock Bulldogs + Official Tickets

Modesto is 0-9 against Turlock since September of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Panthers will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Modesto has given up an average of 32.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Modesto duked it out with Gregori on Friday. The Panthers were dealt a 35-0 loss at the hands of the Jaguars. The game marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, while it was Turlock who put the first points on the board on Friday, it was Downey who put up more. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Knights by a score of 29-26. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 7-0 in the first quarter.

Modesto's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Turlock, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Modesto was dealt a bruising 42-0 loss at the hands of Turlock in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Bulldogs' Scout Silva, who threw for 221 yards and four TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Now that the Panthers know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
