Baseball Preview: Campbell County Camels vs. Cooper Jaguars

Campbell County fell victim to Simon Kenton and their airtight pitching crew last Saturday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers. The game marked that first time this year in which Campbell County was not able to get on the board.

Campbell County got a good showing from Nate Delaney, who didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over four innings pitched.

Cooper proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 15) but on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged Harrison County out 7-5.

Campbell County has fallen quite a ways from their 26-11 record last season and are now at 2-4. As for Cooper, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6.
