It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Heritage Hurricanes can now relate to. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Rams on Saturday. Heritage's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Leading Lafayette to victory were Hayden Oleksy and Nazeer Wolmart. Oleksy rushed for 27 yards and two touchdowns, while Wolmart rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.7 yards per carry.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Lafayette, they have yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 11-2 record.

Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lafayette will square off against Brentsville District at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Brentsville District is ranked 31st, while Lafayette is ranked 21st).
