Basketball Recap: Ringling Takes a Loss

Ringling saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell to the Garner Longhorns 55-51. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Devils have lost by exactly four points.

Dawson Miller was his usual excellent self, putting up 37 points for Garner. Miller is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Martinez, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Ringling now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Garner, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Ringling will welcome Walters at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ringling is facing Walters at the right time seeing as Walters is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Garner, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-28 win against Thackerville on the 13th.
