Volleyball Recap: Conard Wins Going Away Against Lewis Mills

Conard won the last time they faced Lewis Mills and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Wolves blew past the Spartans 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Wolves.

While Conard won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-16.

Allison D paced Conard's offense, picking up eight kills. D got some help from Jayme K and her 20 assists. K was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Conard's record is now 9-2. As for Lewis Mills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Conard is set to square off against their familiar foe Farmington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lewis Mills will take on rival Bloomfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
