Soccer Recap: Cummings Comes Up Short

Cummings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-1 to the Southeast Alamance Stallions. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no goals scored by either team from that point forward.

Cummings' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Southeast Alamance, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cummings will challenge rival Eastern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Southeast Alamance is set to square off against their familiar foe Western Alamance at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
