Basketball Game Preview: Trion Bulldogs vs. Model Blue Devils

The Trion Bulldogs and the Model Blue Devils will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Trion didn't have too much trouble with Mt. Zion as they won 45-28. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Model waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 53-31 margin over the Tigers. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Model's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Trion, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
