Soccer Recap: Sunnyside Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sunnyside can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Clovis West Golden Eagles on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in January.

Sunnyside's loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Clovis West, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Sunnyside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clovis West, they will face off against Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Edison will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Clovis West surely won't give up without a fight.
